It’s taken a while to get everything sorted out, but we are finally now able to start actively accepting club memberships!
If you’ve been a member of Axes & Ales in the past (when we were based at Tallboy & Moose), you’ll be familiar with the process (fill out the form, pay your membership fee, get a fancy hard plastic card!), however there are now a few small changes.
As the club is now a registered incorporation; Northern Suburbs Gaming Club Incorporated, there are a few extra steps to signing up as a member.

The first step, is the fill out the Membership Application! I’m calling it an ‘application’ rather than a form, as we are now required to review your application to become a member and it must be approved by the committee. This really is just a formality required by our incorporation rules, I see very little reason why anyone’s application would be rejected!
The second step; after you have filled out the application, is to pay for your membership. Once you have submitted your application the ‘submission confirmation’ page will provide you with a link to pay for your membership. You do have a few options though. You can pay online, via direct deposit or in person. If you are paying in person you need to speak with a committee member.

If for some reason you have filled out the application form but couldn’t find your way to paying … here is a handy link!
The new venue; Thornbury Bowls Club, has been an absolute gem, it’s the perfect home for the club! Great space, great lighting (who remembers the old days at Tallboy & Moose!), cheap beer … I can’t wait to see you there and I look forward to welcoming you to the club!
I hope you are all well! I’m the President of the Northern Suburbs Gamers Club (also called Axes & Ales Gaming Club), and run Knights of Dice, an Australian manufacturer of MDF terrain and other wargaming accessories.
